Broken Blade Studios - Miniature art by Golden Demon winner Joseph Tomaszewski

This was my first major conversion, or rather my first scratchbuild, based on the Ogre on the cover of " Warhammer Armies: Ogre kingdoms" book.

I started with the body and legs of a standard ogre bull and added greenstuff in the appropriate parts to get him a similar size to the Ogre pictured, the face even had to have the beard cut off and resculpted to get a closer appearence.

Technically the sculpt is far from perfect, it has been commented that it looks "soft" and i wholely agree with this, it was a good excersise to practise sculpting as there is a variety of differnet textures and shapes, such as cloth, chainmail, and flesh.
